‘Pause-Play’ is a collection of photographs shot as single images. They all find their inspiration in the subconscious, from a free state of mind without any restrictions or boundaries. This collection of images marked a new beginning in Astrids work, moving from a more classical approach of landscape photography into photography that allowed more room for imagination, art direction and emotional & metaphorical expression. These images were shot in The Netherlands, USA, Canada and Indonesia.
