Unadapted

The series 'Unadapted' is inspired by the Dutch novel “Portait of the Unadapted” (by Bernard Wesseling), about an urban individual who is unable to adapt to the modern society he was born to live in. He is declared unfit due to his ideas and emotions. These are images that visualize the inablility to adapt and the emotions that derive from that struggle. Note that these images are not illustrations to the novel, but consist of overlapping themes such as the beauty of pure emotions and the search for authenticity.
